"I loved staying at Snow Leopard. Myself and 5 friends stayed here for four nights. It has such a nice vibe that Aizada and Jalil foster alongside their family. They are so welcoming and helpful, they will do their best to organise whatever it is that you are after at the drop of a hat. The weather meant that we had to postpone our hikes but it meant that we got to spend more time exploring Karakol which was a bonus."

"We stayed here before and after hiking to Altyn-arashan, and we also booked a horse trek through the hostel. The rooms are warm and cosy and there is a kitchen facility. The owners are very nice - I’d definitely recommend staying here in Karakol!"

"Wonderful hostel run by Jelil and his family. They have the best English of anyone in Kyrgyzstan and go out of their way to support you and your plans. They booked taxis, helped with washing and recommended places to eat! The rooms are clean and well equipped. The location of the hostel is perfect for getting out to the hikes as well as exploring Karakol. Make sure you play some chess with his daughter!"

"I loved staying here! Jalil and his wife Alzada, are wonderful! They provided great service including breakfast and tea/coffee in the morning, and they were so well connected to guiding services and tours. We did a horseback riding tour which was quite the adventure! Very worthwhile and such beautiful views! Adyl and his guiding partner were really fun to talk to and picked a great route! Also don’t miss out on the Banya (Sauna) in the evenings!"

"Incredible hostel. Super social, so cozy, delightful, helpful, fun, incredibly kind hosts. Such a vibe, and such a perfect spot to stay and rerun to after hikes etc. couldn’t love it more.
